**The Opportunity**:
We're seeking a dynamic and organized Team Lead to help manage our sales floor and donation centre, provide excellent customer service, and supervise our dedicated ReStore volunteers. If you enjoy a fast-paced retail environment and want to contribute to a worthwhile cause, this is the position for you
**Responsibilities**:
- **Regularly lift and move items up to 50 lbs.**:
- Coach, supervise, and motivate ReStore volunteers.
- Ensure outstanding customer experience by answering questions and assisting shoppers.
- Merchandise and maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor.
- Accept, research, price, and process donations.
- Operate the cash register, handle sales transactions, and perform daily cash balancing.
- Open and close the store, following established procedures.
- Train and manage ReStore team members.
**Qualifications**:
- **Previous experience as a keyholder or other supervisory role in a retail setting.**:
- Demonstrated leadership ability and a passion for teamwork.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to **lift and move furniture and merchandise up to 50 lbs.**:
- **Valid Ontario driver's license**:
- Experience in merchandising, cashiering, cash balancing, opening and closing procedures, training, and team member management are assets.
- Availability during store hours
