_**Begonia Bakehouse**_ is a French inspired artisan bakery. We are looking for an experienced Baker who can fill in and back up current staff with baking, making croissants and bread production. This position is not full-time to begin with, moving to full-time hours as we move towards the holidays.

We are looking for a motivated individual who can work independently and as part of the team. Ability to work early mornings is a must. Good time management and communication skills are essential.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Early morning production, baking all bread and pastries.
- Properly and safely use all equipment (Mixer, Oven, etc.).
- Communicate effectively with other team members ensuring timelines are met.
- Assist with bread production and other pastries within the bakery.
- Assist with production of fillings and daily prep for the next day.
- Assist with keeping the bakery clean and organized.

**To join our team, you’ll need**:

- Ability to work an early morning shift
- Possess excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to self-manage and problem solve
- Ability to complete recipe calculations
- Ability to read and follow recipe directions
- Ability to meet daily production requirements
- Strong attention to details
- Cleanliness
- Able to lift 20kg repeatedly and able to stand for full shift

**Education**:
High school diploma. Formal baking training is an asset.

**Experience**:

- Baking of pastries and bread.

**Hours of Work**:
Early morning, 5:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. 4:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Saturday and Sunday,

Pay: $17.50-$22.00 per hour
