**About this opportunity**

The Centralized Accounts Receivables Manager will oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures that ensure timely and accurate billing of customers and analyze data to generate valuable insights, perform reconciliations, quality assurance checks, audits, and trend analyses.

- Oversee day to day activities of team members and monitor work assignments to ensure all resources are fully utilized;
- Analyze data to generate valuable insights, perform reconciliations, quality assurance checks, audits, and trend analyses.
- Train and coach team members to support their personal development and departmental KPIs;
- Implement best practices in billing/accounts receivable by engaging with internal and client stakeholders;
- Be responsible for innovation and taking ideas from concept to implementation;
- Develop, champion, and recommend changes to policies and guidelines to meet strategic objectives;
- Drive change management initiatives and guide project personnel and stakeholders in the development and implementation of a series of specific initiatives to transform the end-to-end billing and accounts receivable process;
- Develop supporting communication plans to stakeholders, gain input/feedback, and facilitate successful implementation;
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and undertake continuous improvement projects;
- Ensure service level agreements and productivity targets are consistently met and exceeded;
- Work closely with IT to ensure continuous system improvements towards increasing efficiency of processing, experience in system implementation is an asset.

**Here’s what you’ll need to be successful**:

- College or university degree in a business-related area;
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a supervisory role
- Basic knowledge of general accounting principles in a computerized accounting environment;
- Superior project management skills in planning and executing improvement initiatives;
- Experience in identifying and executing automation within process;
- Ability to deal with complex billing issues;
- Effective time management - ability to set priorities to meet deadlines and work under pressure;
- Strong communication skills to effectively manage relationships with stakeholders and upstream operational teams;
- Effective task delegation and follow-up;
- Ability to train and coach staff;
- Experience in leading teams and managing people;
- Enthusiasm for change and desire to learn;
- Moderate to advanced knowledge in MS Excel is mandatory.
