**Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our dedicated team. This role requires a love for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism as they arrive at the clinic.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date in the system.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with animal handling during appointments, sample collection & procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinic.

**Skills**
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for animal care and welfare.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling and billing purposes.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities.
- Experience or familiarity with laboratory processes is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks performed.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally, especially when dealing with distressed pet owners.

Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

- Veterinary Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
