**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Vice President, Agency Sales, the “**Account Executive**” is responsible for contributing to the growth of Kensington Tours agency channel in the US & Canada in partnering with Sales Directors in operations, account management and growth of travel agent partner sales. This in-office, or virtual role also provides essential operational, customer service and administrative support to the field team.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Achieve personal Sales / Revenue and other Business KPI’s by executing pro-active sales strategies for assigned accounts and territories
- Actively partners with Sales Directors in growing sales, building, and maintaining relationships with travel agent partners
- Assist Regional Sales Directors in sales, administration, travel and events logistics, reporting, marketing, and agency relationship management
- Provides customer service and operational support to travel agency partners and field sales team.
- Resolve any agent concerns or complaints through immediate communications with appropriate parties
- Maintain agency prospect lists/contact database to identify opportunities; Proactively and consistently seek opportunities to promote and sell products
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all Kensington Tours product and services
- Host product/system training webinars with agency and consortia partners when required
- Will be required to assist in representing Kensington Tours at trade shows and preferred agency network events, presenting the Company’s products and services
- Other projects as assigned
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 2 years’ travel industry phone sales experience ideally in a b2b capacity
- Proven ability to develop new business and increase sales
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and an ability to communicate in a polished and professional manner
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to attend and participate in trade events & conferences when required
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent customer service/relationship building skills
- Proven time management skills with an ability to set and meet personal timelines and deliverables
- Able to work in a fast paced, changing, entrepreneurial environment and meet time sensitive deadlines
- Worldly and well-traveled with nuanced understanding of the expectations of the luxury traveler an asset
- Specific regional experience/expertise across Europe, Asia, Africa and/or Latin America an asset
- Upbeat personality with a comfort being both a flexible and adaptable team player and a self-starter (must be able to work in lean environment with autonomy)
