We are looking for a motivated Gelato Production Assistant to join our team. As the Production Assistant, you will accurately produce gelato, sauces, inclusions, package and store products, clean work area, and follow all safety, health and dairy regulations. Food safety and public health are the hallmarks of this position and our commitment to quality.

**Essential Functions**
- Performs manual tasks to effectively manufacture finish goods
- Attaches the appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
- Continuously inspects machines, products, and packages
- Maintains a clean and safe work area
- Follows all procedures and policies as outlined by the Quality Assurance
- Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Attentive to details
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Ability to set up machines accurately and quickly
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs without assistance
- Ability to work without supervision

**Education/Experience**
- Minimum 5 years kitchen experience required

**Job Type**:

- Immediate Full time, opportunity for permanent opening
- Optional overtime during the summer
- Starting from $16.00 per hour, commensurate based on experience

**Salary**: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
