We are looking for a dynamic and collaborative individual to join our Municipal Law Enforcement Department Directly in line with the Town of Innisfil’s Strategic Plan 2030, you will take a “Community First” approach to your work, and will be responsible for providing program coordination support and overseeing the development and implementation of programs that support the department, as well as:

- Overseeing existing department programs such as Administrative Penalties, Licensing, Provincial Offences Court and Parking Administration
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of office operations, including department level Management Directives and Standard Operating Procedures
- Overseeing parking penalty administration and Property Standards Appeal portfolios; educating and providing information to the public concerning Town by-laws, policies, regulations and the Administrative Penalty System (APS) process and procedures
- Providing clear, well-reasoned written decisions, including setting out reasons for varying, affirming, or canceling Administrative Penalties
- Job Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., business or public administration, law and security, police foundations, etc.) or other legal related field.
- A minimum of three (3) years experience in a municipal by-law or enforcement administration environment.
- Thorough working knowledge, ability to apply, interpret, and ensure adherence to relevant legislation, regulations, and by-laws (e.g., Statutory Powers and Procedures Act, Highway Traffic Act, Traffic/Parking By-laws) with a minimum of three (3) years of experience.
- Availability to attend evening and weekend meetings or other events, if necessary.
