Earthwork Foreman

Brodsky Construction is seeking an experienced Earthwork Foreman to lead our crews on earthmoving and infrastructure projects. Wage will depend on experience.

Responsibilities include:

- Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce safety standards.
- Direct crews to maximize efficiency and deliver high-quality work.
- Perform and oversee staking to ensure design grades are accurately and efficiently achieved.
- Ensure all work meets design specifications and project requirements.
- Oversee and participate in the installation of culverts, water and sewer pipe, man holes, and valves.
- Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project progress.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in earthmoving projects.
- Proficiency with staking and with survey equipment
- Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction stakes.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred:

- Safety certifications (e.g. First Aid, TDG)
- Experience with geosynthetics and water/sewer installations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 per week
