Minimum Requirements:

- One to four years of experience
- Able to advise business leaders and provide guidance to more junior Supply Chain Management (SCM) staff
- Demonstrates skill in a variety of Supply Chain competencies related to Procurement, Contract Management and Supplier Analysis/Selection as well as Planning, Scheduling and Coordinating
- Displays a combination of professional and technical knowledge related to Supply Chain Management (SCM) practices and processes, training, preparation and practical experience
- Post-secondary Business or Supply Chain background

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintains and manages entire lifecycle of purchase orders and other basic procurement documentation
- Assesses risks, identifies trends and opportunities, and makes recommendations for improving procurement processes, policies and procedures
- Meets the demands of multiple clients including external stakeholders
- Ensures all procurement activities are aligned with the purchasing strategy and procurement plan
- Creates individual annual objectives, measures, and performance targets aligned with the overall Procurement Team and the SCM functions' performance targets
- Displays a combination of professional and technical knowledge related to Supply Chain Management practices and processes; a combination of training/ preparation and practical experience
- Defines priorities and ensures alignment with overall objectives
- Determines course of action as per procedural guidelines and contracts
- Interacts with members of the Organization that are at a senior level and makes recommendations for operational improvements

Location and other Key Details:

- This position will be based at the Fort McMurray Base Plant
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
