**GATE OPERATOR INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN**

**PHOENIX FENCE CORP.** is Western Canada’s leading fence contractor that has been in the fence business at the same location Edmonton since **1981**. **PHOENIX FENCE CORP. **is currently recruiting for an **Automatic Gate Installation** **Technician** at our head office location in **Edmonton, Alberta (12816-156 St.)** If you are looking for an opportunity for a **fulltime permanent** **position** to grow with a long-term company, over time hours, enjoy some short-term traveling and fit most of the following criteria, send us your resume.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

- ** Definite requirement of in-depth electrical knowledge including primary power and low voltage contacts and circuits or C.E.T certificate or previous overhead door installation background is required**
- Competent, trustworthy, ambitious, punctual, ability to work alone, professional
- Mechanical background, ability to weld ( or willingness to learn ), operate smaller equipment (mini skid steer), complete minor civil work
- Coordination and hands-on involvement of day-to-day activities with coordinator
- Continuously develop a work plan to meet schedule and productivity targets
- Empowered to make proactive decisions related to project execution and field level problem resolution
- Provide improvement feedback to gate operator coordinator / senior management on productivity, quality, safety
- Willing to work out of town on occasion
- Material requisition and equipment / resource management
- Prepare daily work progress reports
- Direct / work alongside third-party contractors
- Interface and liaison with customer representatives
- Provide training in, and adherence to, Phoenix and customer safety programs & procedures
- Approximately 44-50 hours a week, able to work out of town
- Require valid driver’s license, clean drivers record, clean criminal record, consistent Drug & Alcohol testing
- Out of town monetary kickback
- Service truck and tools provided

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
