Carpenter Helper

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist carpenters in the installation of structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Help with blueprint reading and understanding project specifications.
- Participate in concrete forming and masonry tasks as needed.
- Support cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and siding projects.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Engage in construction painting and caulking duties.
- Aid in rebar installation for concrete reinforcement.
- Assist with heavy lifting of materials and equipment on job sites.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

**Skills**
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
- Experience with concrete forming, masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, and cabinet installation is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking techniques.
- Basic knowledge of construction estimating processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required on job sites.
- Experience in roofing, plumbing, electrical work, or maintenance person tasks is a plus.

Pay: $17.32-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33 - 44 per week
