Your extraordinary welcome and greeting at the door lets our guests know immediately that St. Louis Bar and Grill cares about their experience, “**You never get a second chance to make a first impression"** You will be our guests" first impression, so we know you will always make it a great one As the Takeout Cashier you will be responsible for handling all takeout orders the restaurant receives through the phone or online. You must be energetic and have a passion for engaging and wowing our guests with extraordinary hospitality. At St. Louis we value personality, dedication, and integrity The Host is the most important role of the team here at St.Louis You are the big hello and big goodbyes the guest will be looking for **You Bring**: - A fantastic personality. - Enthusiasm for providing hospitality and hosting people. - Excellent phone manners & communication skills. - Enthusiasm for providing extraordinary hospitality and hosting people. - A positive outlook on our community, our people with a spectacular attitude. - The ability to multitask. - Ability to work weekend and holidays - A way to get to and from work as buses dont run late on weekdays / weekends. - Looking to move up within company to server or bartender roles - Williness to learn and think on your feet - Problem solving skills - Understanding of verbal commuacation to guest over the phone and in person - Team Player **In This Role, You Will**: - Always deliver more than our guest expects through extraordinary hospitality. - Greet each guest like they are special, valuable and like a VIP - Establish a fantastic connection with each guest. - Greet each guest with a smile and eye contact. - Check for and coordinate reservations. - Seat guests appropriately, balancing guest preferences with operational constraints, and physically bringing the guests to their table. - Meet special guest needs, such as a highchair or booster seat for a child, or accommodations for guests with disabilities. - Assist guests when the restaurant is full, including letting them know the approximate wait time, keeping a guest wait list, and calling provided numbers when tables become available. - Answer the phone and communicate with guests. - Pack up takeout orders while ensuring accuracy and quality. - Provide Guest First service with guests coming in for orders and over the phone. - Use the POS system. - Process payments. - Communicate with the kitchen. - Performing additional tasks as assigned. **What we offer**: - Tip Pool - Vaction Pay - Benifits - Active Training Program - Room for growth in company St. Louis Bar & Grill strongly believes in an inclusive culture and having diverse colleagues.
