Publishing Intern, Sales

As a Publishing Intern, Sales & Operations on the Wattpad WEBTOON Studios team, you will be an essential part of our publishing processes and support the business of licensing our titles to third-party publishers across all our key territories. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders across the Studio and wider organization, you’ll promote Wattpad and Webtoon works throughout the world, supporting business growth and improved processes.

This role is a paid,
**6-9 month internship.**

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Prepare and distribute title updates and information to prospective foreign publishers, ensuring all internal and external stakeholders have all key information, assets for prospective sales and upcoming releases
- Track sales and title information for foreign publishing sales, and report regularly to internal stakeholders on key sales metrics
- Data entry on submissions and contracts via Salesforce and other internal systems
- Coordinate marketing assets for use in translation sales
- Research information on both Wattpad and Webtoon works for potential sales
- Interact with prospective publishers to ensure they have the information they need for their publishing plans

**What we’re looking for**:

- Educational or working experience in a publishing or entertainment space or working with writers/influencers
- Enthusiasm for the business of books and writing
- Experience with contracts is a bonus
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in GSuite, Powerpoint, Word, Excel. Experience with Salesforce a plus
- Proficiency in the Korean language is a plus

Wattpad WEBTOON Studios is conducting all interviews in a distributed manner using applicable third party software where needed and using visual interface tools such as Google Hangouts and Zoom.
