**Job Type**:Permanent, Full/Part-time

**Required education**:High School / College **or **University **or **equivalent.
- **Previous optometry clinic/optical experience will be considered as a huge asset but is not required as full training will be provided.**_

**Responsibilities include**:

- Providing personalized customer service
- Front desk administration and patient reception with other general clerical duties
- Scheduling appointments and referrals
- Managing Insurance Verification
- Conducting preliminary procedures prior to the eye health examination (Auto refraction, Lensometry, NCT, Retinal Photography, OCT, Visual Field Testing, and meibography)
- Assisting the Optometrist with examination procedures
- Provide patients with ophthalmic frame and lens recommendations
- Dispensing and sales of prescription and non-prescription eyewear
- Neutralization, repair, and adjustment of eyeglasses
- Entering lab orders
- Inventory management
- Communicating with vendors
- Patient instruction for contact lens insertion, removal, and hygiene
- Social Media Management
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment for staff and patients
- Maintain proper records to ensure patient privacy
- Dry eye testing and treatments

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
