**Welcome Centre Clerk - Afternoon Shift**

**Mon-Fri 2:45pm-10:45PM**

**Location: Brantford, ON**

**General Summary.**

Welcome Center Clerk is responsible for checking in and out trailers/containers, shipping and receiving paperwork, and access control of the yard.

**This position will be responsible for..**
- Inspect inbound and outbound trailers/containers.
- Document persons entering and leaving the yard.
- Document control on Bills of Landing (BOL’s), trailer/container inspection sheets.
- Interact with driver courteously, respectfully, and professionally.
- Check trailers/containers in and out using Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Liaise with clerical and workflow staff.
- Answer phone calls from internal and external customers.
- Maintain access control and driver logs.
- Perform yard audits - reconciliation of current yard status versus data in WMS.
- Enforce safety policies, i.e. PPE, pedestrian traffic, speed limits, and other site policies.
- Report safety and security issues promptly.

**Education/Experience**
- High School Diploma or equivalent education and 1-2 years relevant experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Customer service driven.
- Strong team player.

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Ability to sit/walk/stand for up to 8 hours per day.
- Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

**Pay Range**:13.99 (Min) - 20.27 (Mid) - 26.55 (Max) Hourly
