**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
- Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from the head chef.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage areas.
- Ensure all food items are stored properly and adhere to food safety standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Help with menu planning and special event preparations when required.

**Skills**
- Proficient in meal preparation techniques within a fast-paced food service environment.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Experience working in a kitchen setting, preferably in a restaurant or similar establishment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
