**Shifts: Days (some evening and weekend work will be required)**

**Salary: $86,927.10 to $108,657.90**

Balmoral Centre is a Regional provider of medically supported withdrawal management services. Treatment is client centred and offers withdrawal management support for adults and youth over 16 years of age. The centre provides both medical and behavioural change supports and facilitates referrals for other services or supports as required.

**Qualifications**:
**Education/Experience**:

- Degree graduate of a professional health care program in which the profession is regulated by a college (or commitment to obtain further educational qualifications), preferably nursing
- Current registration with a professional college or professional regulatory body
- Experience in a supervisory capacity for both inpatient/residential and non-residential programs, including crisis management
- Experience in policy formulation and process implementation
- Specialized training in addictions and mental health
- Experience at a supervisory level for both inpatient/residential and non-residential programs, including crisis management
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with clients and families living with substance abuse and mental health issues and familiarity with withdrawal management
- Experience working within inter-organizational partnerships
- Knowledge of professional standards and quality assurance guidelines of Professional Colleges and Regulatory Bodies (Social Workers, Nurses)
- Experience working within a unionized environment
- Excellent organizational skills and proficiency with office computer equipment and software
- Superior ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing

**Skills/Abilities**:

- Sound judgement, decision making, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of LEADS in caring environment framework
- Knowledge of relevant legislation (Health Care Consent Act, PHIPPA, Occupational Health and Safety)
- Trained in Level 1 and/or Level 2 Occupational Health and Safety is an asset
- Demonstrated leadership and supervision/management skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication and team-building skills
- Demonstrated use of initiative, flexibility and effective adaptation to change
- Strong computer skills
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work

**CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT**
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
- Willingness to travel, Class G driver's license, use of a reliable vehicle, and adequate insurance
- Flexibility in working hours, including some evenings and weekends, will be required
