Trade Support Analyst, Fixed Income

**Responsibilities**:

These positions are an integral part of the Middle Office Team which will strengthen the efficiencies and processing of the group to support the Front Office business line. Middle Office Trading Assistants will process the activity of the various desks including Money Markets, Repo Financing, Municipals, U.S. Governments, Corporate Bonds, Global Foreign Exchange, Mortgage-Backed Trading, Interest Rate and Credit Derivative Products.

**What will be your day-to-day?**

You will be responsible for controlling trading activities across multiple trading desks for Fixed income, Rates, Treasury and Credit.

General Responsibilities Include:

- Deal Control: enforce controls designed to make sure that executed trades are booked promptly and accurately.
- Review lifecycle events on Fixed income activity
- Handle request for early redemption or security termination
- Responsible for managing trace (FINRA platform) & GSCC matching and setup
- Review position controls; FO to BO reports
- Ensure consistency of process with global TSU counterparts.
- Keep all procedure manuals current and up to date.
- Respond to requests for Audit and Inspection teams.
- Responsible for correct static data maintenance.
- Test system upgrades/enhancements.
- Ad Hoc assisting of the traders and salespersons.
- Monitoring of the STP processes so that all trades flow to BO systems promptly.
- Responsible for certain regulatory checks such as Trace reporting and Reg W controls

**What you bring to our team**:
**Required Experience**
- Experience supporting Fixed Income trading desks
- Bonds & IRD
- Understanding of Interest rate swaps, TRS, CDS and relevant clearing workflows
- Product exposure should also include thorough understanding of US Treasuries and Bond settlements.
- Familiar with Regulatory obligations
- 2-5 years’ experience supporting Fixed Income business

**Desired/Plus**:

- Knowledge of FED, DTC and Euroclear in addition to GSCC netting
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong Markitwire knowledge.

**Competencies**:

- Strong interpersonal, communication and partnering skills.
- Ability to handle various ad-hoc requests in a dynamic environment.
- Prone to take initiatives. Proactive and detail oriented.

**Required/Must have**:
Bachelor’s Degree in finance or Economics
