**Temporary Part-time Caretaker I - W.H. Croxford High School**

RVS is situated on the traditional territories of the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta including the Siksikaitsitapi (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, Amskapi Pikuni), the Tsuutina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations (Bearspaw, Chiniki, Goodstoney), and the Rocky View Métis District.

W.H. Croxford High School is located in the City of Airdrie, and serves students from grades 9-12. For more information on the school, please visit the RVS website.

**Responsibilities Include**
- Attention to detail related to varied and complex cleaning tasks
- Ability to work independently and perform assigned tasks within a team environment
- Demonstrated pride in workmanship
- Performs building security checks as scheduled by the Head Building Operator
- Experience working in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety, WHMIS and other relevant legislation

**Education/Experience**
- Previous cleaning experience is considered an asset
- Certifications from cleaning organization is considered an asset
- Previous experience within a school division is considered an asset
- An equivalent combination of Education and Experience may be considered

**Knowledge/Skills**
- Basic knowledge of proper cleaning procedures
- Ability to successfully work in a team environment as well as independently with mínimal

supervision
- Effective written and verbal communication skills

- As this is a temporary position there is no employer paid sick time, pension, or benefits
- Rocky View School employees who are ineligible for employer paid benefits may access the supplemental benefits package at their own cost

**Pre-employment Requirements**
- Proof of qualifications/education as required by the position
