**Abilities Community Services **has anopportunity for a skilled Community Support Worker, working Saturday's and Sunday's, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This is a great opportunity for students.

**Responsibility of the position includes, but is not limited to**:

- Supporting adults with developmental disabilities
- Behaviour Management and Crisis Intervention
- Work on goals contained in Person Centred Plans
- Take part in planning options for participants
- Food and meal preparation
- Household chores
- Medication administration
- Personal care
- Any other tasks as outlined in the job description
- Must work well in a team environment

**Qualifications**:

- Current First Aid/CPR Level C
- Food Safe
- A clean criminal reference check
- Medical clearance including a recent negative TB test
- Non Violent Intervention Training
- CSW diploma or relevant work experience
- Class 5 drivers license

**Compensation**:

- This is a weekend position in a union environment
- Wage will be determined by the number of years/hours that you have worked and will follow the Community Living Services Collective Agreement
- Wages range from $21.63 - $25.19
