Comox, Canada Islands West Produce Full time

**Role**:
**Must reside in the Comox, Courtney and Campbell River area.

**Responsibilities**:

- Businesses Development: Sourcing and securing new accounts and managing existing relationships to achieve profitable sales growth within the assigned territory.
- Analyze the client's requirements, acting in a conciliatory manner to properly determine the products that best fit their needs.
- Sales order entry and troubleshooting.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and the industry community.
- Supports the finance team with customer related accounting matters.
- Represents Islands West with a high degree of professionalism.
- Communicates market information to the Sales Team to included trends or new product information gathered from both existing customers and business development activities.
- Maintains a high awareness of market pricing, supply and the quality of produce.

**Qualifications**:

- 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role in the Foodservice, Retail or Hospitality industries.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Solution driven to achieve the best outcome for the customer and Islands West Produce.
- Ability to work independently and within a sales team environment.
- Detail orientated, with solid time management and follow up skills.
- Basic computer abilities in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows 10.
- A valid Class 5 drivers license with a clean drivers abstract.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and handling multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to travel the Vancouver Island region as needed.
