We are looking for a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team at the Administration Office in the west end of Edmonton.
Position Overview
As the Human Resources Recruiter you will be primarily responsible for full cycle recruitment, administrative, and the transactional functions of the Human Resources Department.
Primary Responsibilities
- Full cycle recruitment including the development of job postings, resumé screening, interviewing and conducting reference checks
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires including preparing and presenting offers of employment and completing the new hire orientations
- Notify the IT Department of all new hires/transfers/title changes for system set up or changes
- Assist with maintaining employee data in the HRIS using Ceridian Dayforce
- Assist with maintaining the Employment Equity Database
- Provide assistance in the administration, development and revision of human resource policies, procedures and internal programs
- Prepare and compile weekly/monthly employee reports to identify employee metrics
- Set up secondary worksites in Dayforce and process expense claims for travelling employees
- Thoroughly monitor probationary periods, benefits, and evaluation dates while maintaining accurate records
- Special projects and other duties as assigned
- Maintain positive working relationships with employees, supervisors and managers
- Occasional travel to out of town branches will be required
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable drivers abstract
**Qualifications**:
- A minimum of one to three years experience working in office administration.
- Previous human resources experience would be considered an asset
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism is off the utmost importance
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal interactions
- Proficient in gathering data from various sources, analyzing it, preparing reports, and providing recommendations
- Skilled in prioritizing tasks within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing frequent interruptions, and shifting deadlines effectively
