**Test Systems Site Integrator - Instrumentation & Controls**

**Full-time, Contract**

**4 months (with possibility of extension)**

**What you'll be doing**:

- Oversee day-to-day management of site installation projects for instrumentation & controls systems.
- Manage I&C systems including test systems power supply, UPS power distribution, cable tray routing, Controls & Instrumentation (C&I) wiring, data racks installation, Junction Box installation, and instrument calibration.
- Chair daily white board meetings and coordinate work among MDS engineers/technicians and subcontractors.
- Ensure installation activities adhere to local codes, contract specifications, and safety standards.
- Review drawings and schematics, provide technical input, and resolve technical issues.
- Monitor and approve out-of-scope work by subcontractors and participate in Change Orders and bid reviews.
- Generate and update site schedules, enforce health and safety requirements, and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
- Coordinate electrical/C&I interfaces and test system commissioning exercises, including client-witnessed ATPs.
- Coordinate training activities, collect acceptance documents, and ensure system designs meet MDS and client needs.
- Maintain redlines and working copy drawings, coordinate site shipments, and file daily job logs.
- Manage snag/defect registers and support Test Systems and Engine commissioning.
- Provide on-site supervision and administrative support for site staff, including time sheet approval whenever applicable.
- Coordinate project activities for on-site personnel, subcontractors, and consultants.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Minimum of 5 years of practical site experience managing installation and commissioning activities, as well as overseeing workforce and subcontractors in an industrial setting.
- Proficient in producing method statements, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and all other documentation related to site management.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, coupled with effective problem-solving, negotiation, and risk management abilities, are essential for success in this position.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a good understanding of industrial Health & Safety regulations are necessary.

**What’ll help your success?**
- A Degree or Diploma from an accredited college or university is required. While an Engineering degree is preferred, relevant experience will be considered equally.
- Design experience is advantageous and may lead to a potential dual role considering site schedules.
- The primary role involves Electrical/Controls/Instrumentation

**Additional Information about the role**:

- This role may require flexibility in working various hours on site when necessary.
- Essential ability to travel internationally for extended durations and work overtime as needed.
- For the 4 month contract, employee is expected to be on site full time. Considerations for longer term contract, travel is expected 50-80%.
