**Field Services Technician** - Electrical Panels & SCADA Monitoring

Location: Alberta mainly (can be other provinces and occasional USA work)

**Job Type**: Full-Time, On-Site / Field-Based

**About the Role**

**Responsibilities**
- Must be safety minded and respect safety and employment policies.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical panels and SCADA monitoring equipment at client sites.
- Perform field testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure all equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to meet project timelines.
- Document service activities, including test results, repairs, and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while on-site.
- Provide customer support and communicate clearly with clients about service needs and outcomes.
- Decommission or re-service old equipment
- Perform occasional general labour tasks, such as snow removal and light landscaping, as required.
- Experience programming PLCs

**Qualifications**
- Technical diploma, trade certification, or equivalent experience in electrical, instrumentation, or related field.
- Hands-on experience working with electrical panels, wiring, and control systems.
- Familiarity with SCADA monitoring equipment and systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various field locations.
- Safety certifications (e.g., CSTS, First Aid, WHMIS, etc.) are an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Must be able to work on the road for stretches of up to 14 days at a time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

- 50% (required)
