**Engineering Dynamics in Carleton Place** is searching for a **Human Resources Manager** for overseeing all of the Human Resources functions of “Engineering Dynamics Limited”.

**Job Duties**
- Human Resources manager is responsible for overall management of all key areas of Human Resources function.
- Provides leadership and consultation to Management in the areas of recruitment and selection, employee retention, performance management, salary and performance review, coaching and development, and policy/legislation awareness.
- Effective and efficient administration in the areas of employee records, WCB/WSIB claims management, compensation, benefits and other employment programs. Back up for Payroll and benefits administration.
- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources and employee relations strategies, including policies, programs, and procedures to address the organization's human resource needs
- Facilitate training plans and assess the training needs for the employees.
- Lead and assist in compensation and benefits programs and plans
- Deal effectively with labor relations and discipline matters aligned with employment laws.
- Deliver essential day-to-day HR tasks

**Job Requirements**
- Demonstrate advanced customer focus, judgment, analytical skills, critical thinking and communication skills required
- Good understanding of labour relations and Ontario labour laws
- CHRP or CHRL designation is an asset

**Competencies**:
Highly organized, able to multitask, and meet deadlines

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, trust, confidentiality, transparency, commitment, practicality, and respect

An effective team player with excellent oral and written communication, critical thinking, and customer service skills.

Previous experience leading, coaching, and team building

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- Mon to Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

**Experience**:

- Human resources:3-5 years (preferred)
- Management : 3-5 years (preferred)
