**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and direct banquet servers and bartenders during events.
- Ensure proper setup of banquet rooms according to event orders (BEOs), including table arrangements, linens, silverware, and decorations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client or event planner on-site.
- Monitor service quality and respond promptly to guest needs and special requests.
- Coordinate timing of food service with kitchen staff and ensure seamless service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas throughout the event.
- Manage staff scheduling and assignments during events.
- Conduct pre-event meetings to review event details and expectations with staff.
- Enforce safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist with post-event breakdown and inventory checks.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or related degree preferred.
- 2+ years of banquet or food & beverage experience; supervisory experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of banquet service techniques and food safety standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
