Line Cook Jr.

Reports to: General Manager via Kitchen Manager & BOH Leads

A Junior Line Cook maintains and exceeds guest satisfaction through the production of Stella’s meals. The role of a Line Cook, Jr will master and operate the following stations of Sandwiches, Salads and Grills. Duties and responsibilities are to be carried out while adhering to all company policies and procedures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of menu items to ensure product efficiency and quality
- Ensure food standards are being met, as set by GM, KM or BOH Lead
- Execution of all cleaning checklists to ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen/workstation
- Maintain the kitchen by sanitizing areas before and after use
- Ensure all knives and equipment are clean, sanitized and in good working condition
- Measure and prepare ingredients according to Food Specification manual
- Ensure that production expediency (ticket times) is maintained
- Ensure unused product is stored properly to minimize waste & maximize quality
- Able to fulfill dishwashing duties when assigned
- Adhere to allergy protocol procedure
- Ensure safe food handling procedures are followed
- Exhibit personal uniform and personal hygiene per company standards
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding organization, coordination, and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced & high-pressure environment
- Previous kitchen/cooking experience is an asset

**Job Type**: Part-time
