**What you'll do**
- Respond and resolve plant and customer issues arising from the installation and operation of Rogers products and services not limited to High-Speed Internet and/or cable services in a Journeyman/Apprentice role.
- Respond to customer reported service problems or referrals from within Rogers involving analogue, digital and fibre delivered services
- Detect, diagnose, and correct problems affecting the services provided to our customers in a safe and controlled manner
- Contribute to the growth of all Rogers products and services through promotion and sale of our products
- Work with other staff to ensure the correction of customer problems in an effective and timely manner
- Operate and understand test equipment related to the maintenance of 2-way coaxial and fibre systems including system analyzers, field strength meters and leakage monitors
- Maintain accurate system records and support documentation in relation to all types of work orders
- Ensure the vehicle, test equipment and tools are maintained in excellent condition
- Perform connections and adding services including Internet, Cable Television, Digital Phone, Digital Cable Terminals (DCTs), VCRs and audio equipment
- Promote a positive image of Rogers products and services while providing exceptional customer service
- Various other duties as required

**What you bring**
- Journeyman accreditation or ability to meet Apprenticeship program requirements including successful completion of Common Core Electronics program.
- Able to work with others in a team environment as well as deal with the public
- Goal oriented and motivated with the ability to work well independently
- Able to perform work safely in all types of conditions including aerial services
- Possess a valid driver’s license and must provide a driver’s abstract annually
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends and evenings
- A positive, “can-do” attitude and customer focused approach to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity
