Key responsibilities include ensuring continuity of supply for all materials that fall under your assigned portfolio. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Demand Planning to develop detailed End-to-End understanding of your sku portfolio. You will also collaborate and partner with manufacturing sites to ensure supply plans can be successfully fulfilled by monitoring available capacity, coordination of component availability and actively mitigating/resolving supply risk. Additionally, you will be leading your portfolio inventory planning to target and the deployment of finished goods according to customer demands, promotions and company objectives.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Accountable to meet or exceed the Open Stock SKU's UFR (Unit Fill Rate) targets for assigned brands and projects.
- Conduct analysis, communication and corrective action for out of supply constrained situations.
- Develop supply plans based on current inventory position, supplier lead times, unconstrained forecasts, supplier capacity, safety stock requirements, etc.
- Deploy inventory planning strategies to maintain and improve service levels and optimize inventory investment; Meet monthly inventory and DOS targets; Actively mitigate SLOB risk or disposition.
- Actively resolve exceptions; collaborate with relevant business partners in making trade-offs that balance supply and demand. Provide timely and accurate communication and execute the agreed supply plan.
- Collaborate with business partners to support new product introductions and promotional activities as needed.
- Lead Life Cycle Management and Cost Improvement initiatives with both internal and external partners.
- Partner with Project Management to launch New Product Initiatives in parallel with our Lead Market.
- Actively support the S&OP process; elevate unresolved supply planning issues, provide insights on risks or opportunities presented.
- Collaboration is key across multiple functions: Internal and External Suppliers, Global Planning and Affiliate Management Group, Marketing, Sales, Project Management, Trade Customization, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Master Data, Distribution and Transportation, Quality Assurance, Finance, US & Global counterparts.
- Lead contact for Canada supply with your assigned domestic and global suppliers.
- Communicate a 12-18 month rolling forecast to assigned suppliers on a monthly basis.
**Qualifications**
**Education**:
- A minimum of Bachelors degree in Logistics or business studies preferred.
**Experience and Skills**:
**Required**:
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in supply chain/logistics/supply planning.
- Strong planning, organization and time management skills.
- Ability to assess and mitigate risk.
- Ability to work and effectively manage priorities within a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and without direct supervision, demonstrating a high sense of urgency.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use analytical tools to solve problems.
- Continuous improvement, results oriented mindset.
**Preferred**:
- Certification from an accredited Logistics program (PMAC, APICS or Professional Logistician)
- Proficient in MS Office software (Advanced Excel skills).
- SAP knowledge.
**Other**:
- This role may require up to 10% of travel.
