IT Network Administrator

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, you will be a key player in achieving Transdev’s business objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
**Strategy and planning (40%)**
- Undertakes IT related projects as assigned;
- Conduct regular network maintenance and upgrades to maximize speed and efficiency;
- Assist with the design and implementation of company's cyber security strategies and policies;
- Ability to develop scripts to simplify and optimize the deployment of security software.

**Operational Management (40%)**
- Troubleshoot and promptly resolve complex IT issues, ensuring that any scheduled downtime occurs outside of business hours to minimize impact on operations;
- Serves as an escalation point to the IT Helpdesk team for issues related to network, systems and servers;
- Maintains and reviews network and system logs for real-time analysis of performance and possible indicators of compromise (IoC);

**Acquisition and Implementation (20%)**
- Oversees the design, implementation, optimization and management of internal networks and ensure 100% uptime and enhance performance;
- Assists in the installation, maintenance in network security measures to protect data, software and hardware.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or Technical degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
- At least 5 years of experience in IT network management or a similar role, demonstrating a successful track record in the field;
- Proficiency in network administration, including knowledge of network infrastructure, server setup, and maintenance;
- Expertise in configuring and optimizing both software as a service (SaaS) tools and hardware systems;
- Expertise in hardware configuration and IT network cabling to ensure physical infrastructure is operating smoothly;
- Bilingual in French and English is required;
- Availability for travel to other provinces is required (Few times per year);
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively liaise with team members.

**Nice to Have**:

- Additional experience in cybersecurity and compliance measures would be a valuable asset in this role;
- Familiarity with configuration management software (Netskope, Fortinet, Meraki and Cisco);
- Experience developing automation tools to assist with all parts of the process is an asset.
