**Role Overview**:
As a **Market Expansion Assistant**, you’ll work closely with our sales and business development teams to help expand our reach into Canadian-owned supermarkets and independent grocery stores. This is a great opportunity for students, recent graduates, or early-career professionals interested in sales, marketing, or entrepreneurship.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Research and identify local grocery stores, retail chains, and markets that align with our brand.
- Help coordinate outreach to store managers and buyers.
- Assist in preparing sales materials, product samples, and presentations.
- Attend local trade events and help with in-store product demos.
- Track leads, feedback, and progress using internal tools.
- Support social media and local marketing campaigns when needed.

**Who We're Looking For**:

- Energetic and enthusiastic with a willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Comfortable speaking with store staff and new clients.
- Interest in retail, sales, marketing, or the food industry.
- Must be able to commute to our Guelph office.

**Bonus if you**:

- Speak a second language (e.g. Arabic, Urdu, Punjabi, etc.)
- Have previous retail or sales experience
- Are familiar with cultural foods or halal products

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
