**About the position**:
Reporting to the Site Manager, the Material Handler plays an important role on our OnSite Services team supporting Honda Canada’s manufacturing plant’s environmental responsibilities by ensuring the proper handling of hazardous & non-hazardous waste.

**Where you’ll work**:New Tecumseth, ON supporting the Honda Canada manufacturing plant, 5 days per week.

**What you’ll do**:

- Proper handling and management of flammable, hazardous, and non-hazardous products and wastes as scheduled or required.
- Monitor and remove all flammable, hazardous, and non-hazardous products and waste from line side and move to designated areas.
- Responsible for inspections and record keeping.
- Assist other team members as needed (including plant trash and recyclables).

**What you’ll need**:

- High school diploma or equivalent working experience.
- Demonstrated focus on safety, and an ability to follow detailed work instructions.
- Mechanical skills.
- Forklift operation experience and ability to operate a Cushman utility vehicle.
- Must be physically fit.
