**TerraPro is seeking experienced Yard Operators for our Sherwood Park Office.**

**Location: Sherwood Park**

**Type: Full time**

**Schedule: Monday - Friday, Overtime on the weekend when required. In town/In branch work - ability to be at home every night**

**When: Immediately**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Manage all day-to-day on-site processes and activities for incoming material that could consist of concrete, aggregate, topsoil, clay, and marginal material management.**
- **Monitor on-site activities and report back to the manager.**
- **Operate Excavator, Loader, Skid Steer, Packer and other equipment as directed.**
- **Ensure all tracking and documentation is completed as required for maintenance and equipment is kept in top working order**
- **Oversee the maintenance of the TerraPro yard ensuring that all ground conditions are free from hazards and are safe and orderly**
- **Assist with regular Monday morning meetings and provide input to the Area Manager.**
- **Monitor daily logs, scale tickets, and billing activity to ensure documents are accurately provided to accounts payable for billing.**
- **Undertake occasional health and safety training**
- **Other duties as required or assigned by management.**

**Job Requirements**:

- **Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills**
- **Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize projects**
- **Proficient writing skills and ability to create high-quality technical reports**
- **Valid Class 5 license**
- **Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Screen.**
- **Past experience working in Civil Earthworks, Environmental Reclamation, landfill operations, transfer stations, or soil management required**
- **Experience working with aggregate or material management for Civil construction projects.**
- **The ability to operate Loader, Skid Steer, Excavator required.**

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- loader: 3 years (preferred)
- excavator: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers License (required)
