**Hours**: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm with ½ hour paid break
**Wage Range**: $23.16 up to $26.97 based on education and related experience.
The ASK Wellness Society is an Accredited, not-for-profit organization. **Position Summary**: The Finance Associate provides administrative and financial support to the Finance Department to ensure efficient and effective operation of the programs. This role is pre-dominantly Accounts Payable, including but not limited to, bill payment, data entry and maintaining of files and filing. You will be expected to exercise sound judgment and independence while managing the day-to-day related administrative/finance activities.
**Typical Duties Include**:

- Process Vendor, Online and Staff payments, using Arcori Accounting System (software training provided).
- Assist with cheque delivery and bank deposits.
- Attending Finance Department and company-wide meetings.
- Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end reporting.
- Support and provide backup for other Finance Department roles.
- Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and contractors as needed.
- Maintain files and statisictics as per accreditation standards and assist with preparation of documents and data entry.
- When requested, be a member of the Society’s Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) team.
- Ensure compliance with all Society policies and procedures.
- Other duties which may or may not be outlined within this job description.

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Bookkeeping experience an asset.

Ability to work unsupervised in a team environment to achieve objectives within specifically negotiated timelines.

- Ability to work within a team-based environment involving multi-agency supports.
- Understands and maintains professional boundaries.
- Must pass an acceptable criminal record check for the vulnerable sector.
- Readiness to complete in-house online training within the first month of employment.
