**It’s your time to shine**
Work where the world comes to create, discover and learn.
We are one of Canada’s top universities and leading research institutions. With more than 8,000 undergraduate and graduate students, two campuses (Lethbridge and Calgary), seven faculties and schools, and more than 2,500 employees, ULethbridge is Lethbridge’s second largest employer. Faculty and staff come together to contribute, each in their own way, to establishing ULethbridge as Canada’s destination university. In 2022, Lethbridge was recognized as one of Canada’s top small cities.

This position is responsible for the creation and maintenance of website, digital communication and social media content that drives meaningful engagement with alumni and donors.
Comfortable in the digital space, this position plays a key role in the planning, coordination, and implementation of web-based projects, communications and social media activities for the Office of External Relations. This includes supporting the development and execution of campaigns and initiatives in the digital space and monitoring and reporting on analytics to inform strategy and identify opportunities. The position requires advanced communication and a high degree of collaboration with multiple internal teams and decision-makers to advance an integrated and cross-functional work plan consistent with the overall University brand strategy and External Relations priorities.

The position provides support to other units interested in engaging alumni by identifying the appropriate channels, developing content and ensuring alignment with the broader alumni engagement strategy.
To be successful, the Digital Engagement Specialist needs to stay on top of emerging trends and best practices related to web design, user experience, social media, digital marketing, and digital communications.
The University of Lethbridge is undertaking a job classification review for Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) positions. As such, the classification level currently assigned for this position may be adjusted as a result of this project.
