Tlicho Logistics (TCL) is currently recruiting for the following position located at the Diavik Diamond Mine (DDMI) site:
**Mechanical Lead Hand**
**As part of the Maintenance team, you will be responsible for:
- Safe and efficient completion of scheduled work.
- Maintaining excellent safety standards while ensuring a high completion rate of the maintenance work schedule.
- Report to Mechanical Supervisor and provide support as required.
- Provide supervision to crews comprising a variety of tradespersons and labourers.
- Position is approximately 30% supervisory support and 70% work in your trade but will vary depending on operational requirements.
- Documenting information within the Ellipse maintenance system.
**To be successful in this role you should have (equivalencies will be considered)**:
- Journeyperson Certification as an industrial millwright, mechanic, welder, plumber, carpenter or pipe fitter.
- Current certification in first aid and CPR.
- Valid level 1 NWT supervisory certificate.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an industrial setting including experience overseeing the work of other tradespersons.
- The ability to speak the Tlicho language would be considered an asset.
**This position is full-time, permanent and site based with a 2 week on 2 week off shift rotation which will include day shift and night shift. Tli Cho Logistics pays a competitive salary with a comprehensive pension and benefit program.
