**Account Manager**

Under the direction of the Controller in Finance, the incumbent participates in the day-to-day management, process improvement, development, and implementation of human resources initiatives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Day-to-day cash management.
- Approve and make payments - direct deposits, checks, etc.
- Perform month-end accounting in collaboration with the controller.
- Carry out the month-end balance sheets.
- Analyze financial statements (some general ledger accounts).
- Coordinate the payroll process in collaboration with the payroll team.
- Management of government reports.
- Support the accounting team during audits.
- Support the finance team in the management of insurance.
- Follow up on budgets.
- Support the payable team and the receivable team as needed.
- Taking the lead on AP solutions (customer service).
- Creation and follow-up of internal reports.
- Produce many reporting per day.
- Manage credit cards, record data in the accounting system.
- Participate in ad-hoc reporting and analysis to assist in decision making.
- Being a second and commitment to the controller.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting (asset) or DEC in accounting.
- Experience in personnel management.
- 7-10 years experience in a similar position.
- Experience in the complete payroll cycle.
- Good knowledge of Office Suite.
- Very strong level of Excel.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Diplomacy, tact, and resourcefulness.
- Management of priorities simultaneously.
- Professionalism, organization, and thoroughness.
- Positive attitude.
- Minutia and speed.
- Autonomy and good judgment.
