Ottawa, Canada Bona Building & Management Full time

We are a property management company in Ottawa looking to add a hardworking, loyal and friendly Building Cleaner to our team.

This part time job will be awarded to an individual who shows good judgement, reliability, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

**_Responsibilities_**
- Cleaning building floors and common areas (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing windows etc.);
- Keeping track of cleaning supplies, and notifying the office staff when order is to be done;
- Cleaning apartments when tenants vacate the unit to prepare for new tenants;
- Making minor repairs in buildings, such as changing light bulbs;
- Notifying managers when a building needs major repairs;
- May assist the Superintendent with work orders or maintenance requests;
- May be asked to assist with the monitoring of onsite parking;
- Communicating with the Rental Office and Building Management about found issues and potential hazards;
- Project a positive attitude for the benefit of tenants and fellow employees;
- Working in compliance with all Health & Safety policies, procedures and legislation.

**_Required Education, Skills and Qualifications: _**
- **Must** be able to provide work references and a clear criminal records check;
- **Must **provide own steel toe work shoes or boots;
- High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years related experience;
- Ability to read/write and speak English;
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information;
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing;
- Working knowledge of Ontario Tenant Protection Act is an asset.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour
