**Position Summary**: We are seeking an experienced Jira and Confluence administrator to work on long term projects to enhance and maintain Jira Service Desks, Jira projects, Confluence spaces and their interactions with BitBucket, Bamboo, OpsGenie, and Workato. You are well-organized and self-motivated, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with diverse world-wide remote teams. You will also be supporting product upgrades to keep Pivotree at the forefront of Atlassian tool evolution. You will be instrumental in migrating Atlassian server products to Atlassian cloud or other tools, with an eye to the future.
This role is open to anywhere remote in Canada. Roles & Responsibilities: - Administer the Atlassian toolset, specifically Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, BitBucket, Bamboo, OpsGenie, and Workato - Create and manage complex Jira components including project workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes and notification schemes in Jira - Create and troubleshoot JQL queries, and assist with reports and dashboards for customer facing teams - Use Jira Automation to improve the efficiency and usability of our Jira Service Management project - Create and maintain scripts used by automations and post functions - Evaluate and manage the use of Atlassian apps for Jira and Confluence to meet business needs - Participate in occasional tool upgrades including pre and post testing conducted in the evenings - Develop, test, and deploy integrations between Atlassian products and other internal systems - Facilitate integration with external ticketing systems using Workato - Keep up-to-date with Atlassian products and administration best practices - Promote adoption and best practice of Atlassian suite across the user community - Administer Confluence and help guide and maintain the organization of data in Confluence - Create and maintain technical documentation and user-guides including complex runbooks to ensure proper execution of work - Train service desk agents and field questions on tool usage from internal staff and external clients - Provide support for colleagues in using the tools mentioned - Troubleshoot and debug access and performance problems - Work with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and design and implement solutions Key Skills and Competencies: - 2+ years of experience with Jira Server and Jira Service Management administration (installing and upgrading the tool is a plus) - 2+ years’ experience with Confluence administration - Deep knowledge of automation for Jira, Tempo and ScriptRunner is a plus - Experience with Jira Cloud and Groovy scripting is a plus - Atlassian Certifications desired - Excellent verbal and written communications skills - Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills - Able to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks Pivotree is an equal opportunity employer.
