Fleming College, Toronto Programs is a public college-private partnership between Fleming College Canada (FC) and (Trebas), with academic delivery and student support services managed by Trebas.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the planning, coordinating, promoting, and executing of student events, trips, workshops, and other activities both on/off campus and virtual.
- Use an international lens to positively engage students and cultivate memorable student experiences, with a focus on diversity, and inclusion.
- Quickly gain a thorough understanding of the FCT student journey, from pre-enrolment to graduation, and various departments, policies, and processes to provide students real-time answers to their questions, and where necessary, re-direct enquiries to the appropriate stakeholders.
- In collaboration with the Student Services team, communicate and engage with students regarding important updates across the student experience and journey.
- Communicate with vendors, external organizations, and companies regarding events and trips while maintaining positive and professional working relationships with partners.
- Gather and compile student feedback and data, including statistics and trends relating to student events and activities.
- Handle large volume of student communication in an efficient and professional manner.
- Maintain and update student files and records as necessary while following-up on incomplete documents. Assist in the interim reviews of the student files.
- Deliver outstanding hands-on student service with an emphasis on student engagement and client satisfaction.
- Support day-to-day operations of the Student Services Department as needed.

**Required Experience**
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline required.
- Minimum 1 year of event planning, or relevant experience.
- Experience working with international students and/or new immigrants will be considered a valuable asset.
- Experience working in a post-secondary, higher education atmosphere will be considered a valuable asset.

**Skills and Traits**
- Proven ability to lead a team and work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written (additional language considered an asset).
- Multi-tasking, ability to work in a high volume and face-fast-paced environment,
- Excellent time-management skills, multi-tasking, and ability to prioritize effectively.
- Acts with ethics, accountability and integrity and demonstrates sound judgment and respect for individuals in all interactions.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
