Our highly skilled service department provides 24/7 overhead crane service, commercial door repair and loading dock repair to reduce your downtime.

We are currently seeking a resourceful and self-motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Shipper Receiver.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking.
- Maintain filing of shipping documents.
- Prepare and schedule shipments as assigned.
- Create a daily shipment/receiving schedule
- Schedule daily transportation needs with different carriers/couriers as required
- Oversee the secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries.
- Track shipments and verify receipts of shipments as required.
- Manage inventory of shipping materials and general shop supplies.
- Sort, tag, mark and distribute incoming shipments in a timely manner.
- Perform quality audits of the condition of shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off.
- Report discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
- Follow current standards and procedures.
- Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation and if multiple items per shipment, ensure item lists are complete.
- Problem solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries.
- Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
- Make deliveries with a company vehicle as assigned.
- Notify purchasing of any stock outs and minimum levels
- Continually monitor the KANBAN inventory items in accordance with the KANBAN policy and procedures.
- Ensure the shop floor and paint booth are kept reasonably clean of debris and dirt to maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Ensure the wire rope sign out sheets are being utilized properly by the service technicians and report any deficiencies to the Purchasing Manager.
- Pick parts for jobs, as required from time to time.
- Ensure that garbage receptacles are emptied in a timely manner, as required from time to time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Possess valid Ontario G driver’s license with clean drivers abstract
- Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck
- Good time management and prioritizing skills
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
