Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to join our team. The Purchasing Clerk will be responsible for assisting with procurement processes, vendor management, and maintaining inventory levels to support our operations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in sourcing and procuring materials, supplies, and equipment
- Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and place purchase orders
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and update information in purchasing systems
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs
- Assist in evaluating vendor performance and maintaining good relationships
- Support the implementation of cost-saving initiatives
- Handle administrative tasks related to purchasing activities
**Skills**:
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes
- Ability to negotiate prices and terms with vendors
- Knowledge of Asian product as an asset
- Able to handle multi task
- Knowledge of vendor management practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
- Capacity to fabricate solutions when faced with challenges in procurement processes
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
