Inside Sales Representative

Proudly 100% Canadian, we are an employee powered organization with a reputation for providing the best possible products and service available in the industry. **Position Summary** The inside sales representative is a "customer-centric" individual who is responsible for cultivating, growing, and maintaining customer accounts through the combination of nurturing relationships, selling techniques, and asking probing questions. They will be responsible for the overall look of the showroom through merchandising, signage, and stocking. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** - Utilize the five steps of a sale (Welcome, Determine Needs, Close the Sale, Suggest Add-On's and Thank and Invite Back). - Maintain a fully stocked and merchandised showroom by utilizing replenishment reports. - Communicate with customers in the showroom as well as over the phone. - Get out from behind the counter to assist customers. - Follow up with customer requests in a timely manner with accurate information. - Balance cash sales daily. - Ensure pending fulfillment orders are kept up to date - Request information or pricing for special order product, complete Unicon quote, and follow up with the customer in a timely fashion. - Work with all departments to ensure a smooth receipt of product for the customer. - Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position. - Drive HED sales through suggestive selling, promotion of current sale items, and asking open ended questions. - Provide excellent customer service as a loss prevention technique to prevent theft - Continually update product knowledge to assist customers at a high level and recommend appropriate solutions. - Other duties as necessary. - The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the person assigned to this classification.
