We are currently seeking a passionate, and highly motivated, year-round, Membership Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the General Manager, the Membership Coordinator is our Members’ main point of contact for information about their membership and for potential members who inquire about membership at our Club. The Membership Coordinator is responsible for delivering the highest level of member experience.
**General responsibilities include but not limited to**:
- Responsible for new membership sales including development of marketing programs to existing members and the community.
- Maintain the database of membership information and changes.
- Maintain a database of a waitlist and potential applicants for membership.
- Serve on the Club’s Membership Committee.
- Follow up and respond to member and non-member inquiries.
- Ensure all new members receive a complete orientation at the time of activating their membership as part of a successful onboarding program.
- Ensure new members are fully apprised of Club activities, traditions and policies.
- Be fully knowledgeable of Club By-laws, policies and procedures including fee structures and membership categories.
- Assist the Activity & Engagement Coordinator with sending out Club communications, updates to the website, and social media posts while maintaining professionalism in all media.
- Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate specific membership drives as required.
- Conduct research on current trends, including gathering best practices from other clubs.
- Perform other duties as required.
**Job Requirements (but are not limited to)**:
- Fundamental knowledge of golf, tennis and curling
- Able to work for extended periods of time and able to make immediate decisions to ensure membership satisfaction
- Able to handle photography and incorporate into the Club's marketing plan
- Flexible and adaptable
- Strong oral and written communication skills
