**Position Overview**

The Brand Director is responsible for growing and leading a dynamic group of creative communicators responsible for developing and driving the success of their Jazwares brands. The Brand Director maintains operational excellence across the integrated, cross-functional marketing process with the goal of creating a cohesive consumer experience that drives engagement and sales. You will act as a brand champion and manage multiple brands’ eco-systems from line architecture, to profitability, to licensor relationship management. You must be an experienced strategic thinker, problem solver, motivational mentor, engaging storyteller, and collaborative leader. This critical role sets the global brand strategy, product development roadmap, develops and executes strategic goals as well as collaborates and helps drive the marketing processes for Jazwares brands. The Brand director is also responsible for the development of their team and participates in all stages of the employee life cycle.

**What You Will Do**:

- Responsible for leading and executing the global brand vision and strategy
- Work collaboratively with product design, packaging design, marketing, licensing, and other internal team partners to create a product that is the best fit for the brand
- Define and drive the overall vision of your brands and instill it in all levels of the organization and all consumer facing touchpoints
- Drive innovative global brand strategies - telling the story of Jazwares brands - throughout the global organization rooted in strategic corporate objectives
- Set the overall go-to-market product strategy and oversee the product planning process from concept to shelf, to ensure a powerful and successful award-winning product launch and brand presence at retail
- Be the category and brand expert and be able to communicate to senior management, stakeholders and partners, including licensors (if applicable)
- Understand and identify retailer-specific channel strategies to create diverse product lines that satisfy the evolving needs of all global markets and retail channels
- Partner with cross-functional and international leads on developing and delivering globally-relevant and consumer-insight driven product
- Analyze and evaluate sales data, understand the competition, and current industry trends to aid in determining brand and product strategies
- Foster a positive team environment of ongoing learning, engagement, and growth through mentorship, coaching and support
- Consistently follow up with brand and cross-functional teams to communicate project status, updates, issues, and opportunities to the broader organization.
- Evaluates the competitive landscape and industry trends to help drive strategic decisions around product development and customer execution
- Provide consumer, category, and competitive insights and co-develop targeted retail exclusives plans working closely with the Business Director in identifying new trends, product concepts and development opportunities.
- Provide timely feedback to cross functional teams
- Gather domestic and international field input on new and existing products
- Lead and participate in key account calls

**What We Look For**:

- **Prior experience in Brand managment over Products, i.e. worked on a brand with core fans/fandom (Marvel, Star Wars, Transformers, etc).**:

- Bachelor’s degree marketing or industry relevant field required
- Master’s degree preferred
- **5+ year of leadership experience managing Brand Managers and Brand Associates**:

- 7+ years of product development, product management, brand development, marketing, or relevant experience
- 7+ years of experience in consumer products;
- **Preferable expereince in Boy's Action Space: Nintendo, Mario Brothers, D.C., Sonic, Marvel (Spider Man, Iron Man), D.C., Jurrasic Park, WWE, DragonBallz, Transformers**
- Proficient knowledge and experience in brand profitability and proven success driving programs to meet key global financial objectives
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office & G-Suite
- Knowledge of digital rights management systems
- Creative out of the box thinker that values innovation
- Able to multitask, organize, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Able to work independently or collaboratively
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Articulate and eloquent speaking skills that can engage an audience
- Can easily adapt to shifting priorities, and can manage multiple priorities at one time while simultaneously working on multiple projects/tasks and meeting deadlines
