**Rittal Application Center Team Leader - Day Shift**

As a result of continuing growth we require a Rittal Application Center Team Leader to be responsible for 10+ employees over two shifts days / afternoons shift, who wants to be part of a our word class organization leading the shifts to meet and exceed our customer demands and expectations.

**Responsibilities**
- Will be responsible for day-to-day workflow over both day and afternoon shift
- Delegation of work among the RAC employees
- Coordination with warehouse to ensure orders are picked in a timely manner
- Liaison with management for all production clarification / questions or concerns
- Recommendation for overtime hours required to complete assigned tasks
- Ensure all orders are shipped once completed to prevent further delays
- Advising management of any purchases (tooling / consumables / pallets)
- Drilling, tapping, milling, deburring, cleaning of parts requiring modifications
- Quality checks ensure parts are within tolerance
- Basic maintenance of machine (filling up lubrication, visual inspections, troubleshooting)
- Working with tooling suppliers to achieve more efficient tool solutions

**Experience, Education, and Skills**
- Previous machining experience mandatory (programming not required but preferred)
- Drilling and tapping along with milling would be beneficial
- Must be flexible to work a temporary afternoon shift (3pm-11pm) or split shift as demands change
- Ability to read and understand machining and assembly drawings
- Basic GD&T knowledge
- Reach truck license preferred but will train internally
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate a vacuum lift for heavier parts
- Solid work ethic and high performance track record in manufacturing

**Additional Assets**
- Familiarity with the industrial electrical environment
- Manufacturing experience
- Basic understanding of Lean principles
- Excel Macros, Visual Basic programming skills
