**Responsibilities**
- General Maintenance - Replace and re-condition mechanical parts of apartment suites to their original or best condition, complete all assigned work orders assigned by the Maintenance Manager in a timely fashion, respond to on-call and emergency maintenance requests on a rotation assignment.
- Appliance Repair - Performing work on operating and non-operating appliances including refrigerators, ovens, hot water tanks, dishwashers, washers/dryers, and fixtures; replacing and removing older appliances and fixtures,
- Plumbing - includes diagnosing and unclogging toilets, smaller pipes, replacing piping and installing fixtures in bathrooms and kitchens
- Drywall and Painting - sand, scrape, patch, and fill drywall damage, painting interior and exterior surfaces to maintain
- Grounds keeping - some snow clearing from main entrances and sidewalks after snowfall, light grounds maintenance as needed

**Qualifications**
- 3 years’ experience in general maintenance preferred
- Yardi software app experience
- Experience with maintenance rental properties
- Experience with all types of appliance repairs listed above
- Maintain a positive relationship with tenants, staff, and owners
- Organized & detail oriented
- Intermediate level of experience painting and patching drywall
- Intermediate level of trouble shooting
- Good physical condition with mobility & flexibility; able to use ladders and work outdoors
- Able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
- Dependable, able to work independently and as a team player
- Willing to work some weekends, overtime, and holidays on some occasions and for emergencies (on call cycle)
