**Job Description** Reporting to the Site Manager, the Heavy Equipment Operator receives various types of metals, performs an initial classification, and directs them to the appropriate areas.**

**You will be responsible for**:

- Greeting customers courteously by following our procedures and requirements;
- Assisting with the unloading of materials;
- Sorting different metals based on their characteristics;
- Inspecting customers' metals;
- Identifying the correct type of metal for each product and validating its quality;
- Weighing metals on the scale;
- Entering data into the RECY software;
- Operating various types of machinery (Forklift);
- Preparing receiving/shipping tickets;
- Ensuring cleanliness of the work areas;
- Performing any other related tasks.

**Qualifications**
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position;
- Knowledge of metal recycling (major asset);
- Experience with forklifts (major asset); on-the-job training provided;
- Bilingual (asset);
- Demonstrate a professional and safe behavior;
- Be versatile and resourceful;
- Have an easy time working in a team;
- Excellent priority management skills;
- Provide excellent customer service.
