**Responsibilities**
- Update and maintain Quality Manual and program to mirror ISO specifications
- Provide field support for QC documentation of fireproof work
- Reviewing project’s specifications and Drawing requirements.
- Creating ITPs or QCPs and the necessary Quality reports.
- Conducting quality checks aligned with project scope as per the contract terms and conditions.
- Performing visual examinations, witnesses, monitors and documents as per the project quality and Inspection Testing Plans
- Understanding project turnover processes and the initiation of the necessary quality documentation
- Acting as a liaison with craft/staff personnel to provide technical assistance as/if needed.
- Verifying trade contractor compliance to the project’s specifications, standards, and contract documents
- Planning and coordinating daily Quality Assurance/Quality Coordinator activities with construction activities in the field as required
- Working with Quality Department team
- Meet all expected deliverable dates by clients and internal requirements
- Complete all final documents and turnover packages as required per project
- Developing and maintaining strong customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders
**Qualifications**:
- Level 2 CSA 178.2,CSA W59/W47 B31.3, endorsements required**:
- 1-3 years of quality control experience in an organization that has an established quality program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- As an asset CSA Z662 endorsement
**Reporting**:
- Work with various groups in MTI and IFab groups
- Report to VP.
**Hours of Operation**:
- Monday to Friday 7:0am to 3:30pm
- May be required to work additional hours to meet deadlines.
- For first project work Monday to Friday 10 hours per day on site fly in fly out Ft. MacMurray
**Salary**: $50.00-$65.00 per hour
