Toromont Cat is looking to hire individuals with a passion for leadership and/or leadership experience to join our team as management trainees for the Mining Division.

This is a full-time position with rotational “on-the-job” assignments to develop your knowledge of our products, customers, systems and business programs. As a Trainee at Toromont Cat, you will have a dedicated mentor to guide and support your development and you will participate in various training sessions and events to support your leadership development. Travel availability required for assignments.

These are some of the projects you will work on as a Management Trainee
- Remote mine site fly in fly out work assignments
- Health and Safety project with focus on mining equipment repairs and support
- Business optimization for Toromont mining branch
- Surface and Underground products and technology familiarization
- Mining Fleet Request for Proposal Bid team members
- Mining Equipment performance and fleet health project
- Green House Gas reduction projects with possible exposure to Battery Electric Vehicles
- Advanced technologies in mining such as autonomous and semi-autonomous equipment and data analytics

Job Qualifications:

- Post-Secondary Education (University or College level) from a Technical, Business or related program
- Experience or demonstrated knowledge of working in an industrial sector
- Demonstrated leadership aptitude and/or experience for B2B retail in an industrial sector
- Bilingual (French and English) is a definite asset
- Desire to make an impact in the achievement of business goals and results
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to travel for rotational assignments as assigned (with guidelines for safety during the pandemic) *
